Candy Machuga grew up in Commerce City and graduated from Adams City High School in 1984. Since then, she has acquired lots of experience in her career between being a Bank Teller for 8 years, and her part-time position of a Mutual Clerk for 4 years at the Mile High Kennel Club, and a Cashier for Checkers. For the last 23 ½ years Candy has been working for the State of Colorado, starting in the Treasury department and her current position for 22 years at Colorado Parks and Wildlife. She joined the Commerce City Historical Society to help make a difference in her hometown and preserve the history for future generations. Candy has been married for 27 years to Craig. She enjoys gardening, crafts, photography, ancestry, DIY projects, and sightseeing.
