One of our upgrades to the Dottie Bakke House is a history memory path. People are buying bricks to be laid down in the path. This could be a brick in memory of someone or just to have your name on the path. This path will be in place for many years to come and it will remind us of all the supporters who helped preserve the Dottie Bakke House. This path will also improve the landscaping in the yard, with this addition of a nice path.
Bricks are 8x8 stones and are $99 each. To personalize your brick, you'll need to provide your name, address, phone number, and the wording you'd like engraved on the stone. The Commerce City Historical Society will handle all purchasing and placement in the path at the Bakke House. To order your brick, email your information to
